WHAT IS IT?

Visitor’s tax is a local tax instituted nationally and locally applied from January 1st 2012 which must be paid by visitors staying in the touristic facilities in the territory of Castelnuovo del Garda.

WHO HAS TO PAY?

All guests staying overnight in hotels or touristic facilities in the territory of Castelnuovo del Garda.

WHO IS EXENTED?

- Minors until 12th year of age (age registered on arrival day).

- Bus drivers assisting organized tourist groups.

EXEMPTIONS SUBORDINATED TO THE SUBMISSION OF MEDICAL CERTIFICATE :

- Disabled people and one accompanying person

- Ill people following sanitary therapies in hospitals or sanitary facilities in the area of Castelnuovo del Garda.

- Parents or accompanying person of a minors hospitalized in hospitals or sanitary facilities in the area of Castelnuovo del Garda.

WOW MUCH IS DUE?

For the stay at Belvedere Village for year 2012 the Comune of Castelnuovo del Garda decided to apply a tax of 0,50 € per night per person. After the 5th night of consecutive stay the visitor is exempted from payment.

WHERE MUST THE TAX BE PAID?

The tax must be paid to Belvdere Village who is collecting the tax for the Comune of Castelnuovo del Garda.

EXAMPLE:

Family Rossi: 2 adults, one minor of 17 yrs and one of 13 yrs staying for 20 nights.

Visitor’s tax: 0,50 € x 4 persons x 5 nights: 10,00 €
