New cancellation policies:

Our guests' peace of mind and safety are our top priority. To meet the needs of families looking to book their holidays at our resort but want to be sure they can cancel or postpone them, we've decided to let our guests cancel or change their booking dates for free up to 72 hours before arrival in the event of:
  • cancellation of a booking by guests residing in areas where travel restrictions have been imposed constitutes a case of force majeure for the duration of the relevant ordinance.
  • cancellation of a booking following specific risk advisories issued by the government of the guest’s country or by local authorities advising against or preventing travel to the province of Verona.

In all other cases, our standard cancellation policy applies, namely:

You can cancel your booking for free if you let us know in written form at least 8 days before the arrival date stated in the booking.
In the event of cancellation from the 7th day prior to arrival, the amount paid will be retained as a cancellation fee and no refund will be given.

In the event of a no-show on the day of arrival, and in the absence of any written notification, the accommodation will be considered available from the day following the scheduled arrival date.

How does the deposit refund work in the event of cancellation?

Kindly send an email to info@belvederevillage.com to cancel your booking, stating your request for cancellation (including your booking number and the name of the person on the booking) and providing the details of the bank account to which the deposit should be refunded (account holder, bank name, branch, IBAN, SWIFT code). Alternatively, you may reschedule your booking to a new date without losing your deposit.

I've booked a stay at your property through a tour operator and would like to cancel my booking. What should I do?

For cancellation fees relating to bookings made through tour operators or travel websites, please check the terms and conditions set out by the relevant tour operator or website.

Change of date

I have a booking that I've already confirmed with a deposit and I'd like to use the free date change option. What should I do?

Kindly send an email to info@belvederevillage.com requesting a change of dates, stating your booking reference number, the name of the person on the booking and the new dates of your stay. We will transfer the amount of the deposit paid to your new booking.

I’d like to take advantage of the option to change the date of my booking free of charge, but I don’t yet know when I’ll be able to take time off work: what should I do?

Kindly send an email to info@belvederevillage.com your request to change the dates, stating your booking number, the name of the person on the booking, and the approximate dates you would like to take your holiday. The exact dates can be finalised later, subject to availability, without losing your deposit.

I’d like to request a change of date, but for a different length of stay: is that possible?

Of course, it is possible to change the dates and modify the length of your stay. However, if the deposit paid exceeds the total cost of the booked stay, the difference cannot be refunded in cash.

Force majeure

What are the force majeure circumstances that allow for free cancellation, regardless of the property’s cancellation policy?

As of now, the following are the only instances of force majeure:
  • cancellation of a booking by people in quarantine: this constitutes a case of force majeure, which must be proven by medical documentation or an order from the health or public safety authorities;
  • cancellation of a booking by people residing in areas where a travel ban has been imposed: this constitutes a case of force majeure for the duration of the specific order.
  • cancellation of a booking following specific risk warnings issued by the government of the traveller’s country of origin advising against or prohibiting travel to the province of Verona.

I've booked a stay at your property through a tour operator and would like to cancel my booking. What should I do?
